That smaller one really does a lot that you don't realize and it tends to atrophy fairly quickly.
I think Watson's return will come down to how quickly he can build back the strength in his lower leg/calf after having it mostly immobilized for as long as he has.
I'm betting by any 'normal' standard he's healed at this point. He probably walks around on it with no trouble. But to get that back into playing shape, he's gonna have to get strength back in there. That's just gonna take a little time.
(That photo doesn't inspire a ton of confidence, to be honest. Left calf seems quite a bit smaller).

He's been walking around for a while now according to pictures on his IG. And if you then add on the hints he's been making I think he might be right on schedule to make it back for the playoffs as the original reports suggest.
BTW ya'll if you look closely on Jaylen's right calf you'll see dude has the Chiefs Arrowhead tattoo there.
