Is there a blinking red light visible through a tiny window in the panel? When the furnace has issue the light will blink for a certain number of blinks, and you can look that up in your manufacturer's troubleshooting manual.

Mine was a Lennox and three blinks in a row meant the induction motor was out.

There is a little blower motor on your furnace that kicks in to create an airflow heading from the burner out of the exhaust so when the burner kicks on the exhaust is already flowing out of the vent pipe. When that little motor goes, the furnace won't kick on.

I've replaced mine by myself in two homes.

Basically an easy step by step unbolting the old one and bolting the new one in and plugging the wire terminal block into where where goes.

check the blinking light series.
