He's trying in the regular season. But we can see the mistakes, or drop in performance, and level of play not being up to his lofty standards. Unlike most other pro bowl QB's in the league right now.

The Chiefs (and Mahomes) have been mostly going through the motions in regular season games for the better part of two seasons now including today. There’s nothing wrong with him; the focus level will step up in the playoffs. It always does.
