Loaded with "angst."
That might've made sense when leagues were 8, 10, 12 teams, but 32 is a lotta teams, and there's still what - 11, 12 teams without a SB win?
You must realize I also see you're trying to prop up a theory of excellence that includes the Chiefs and excludes the Broncos. That's not gonna be easy... calling everything before any team's first SB win a "failure" is ridiculous.
In what sense?

No, I don't think SBs are all that matters. I'm just staying consistent w/ your logic. You've said that KC was "really bad" for 50 years, remember? That means your standard of a decent season is reaching the SB.
You want to push a narrative that Broncos fans were on cloud 9 for 50 years. It's laughable. Even when Denver was good, they usually ended the season on a horribly embarrassing note. And since going B2B, it's been a mediocre franchise with a few standout seasons.
Plenty of angst in Broncos country throughout their 60+ years as a franchise.
In Denver's history, how many times have fans truly felt satisfied with how the season ended?
