Chiefs rank higher on offense than defense in 2024:

Offense - 6th in Yds/Drive, 8th in Pts/Drive
Defense - 11th in Yds/Drive, 9th in Pts/Drive

No offense has had fewer possessions than KC. That gets ignored by traditional stats. Their ball control (#1 on 3rd down) shrinks games…

Fact is, the offence hasn’t actually been bad this year either (at least when their LT is not getting absolutely destroyed all game). It is slower and more methodical but still quite efficient.

Are we really giving the responsibility for that to Kareem Hunt (a RB averaging 3.5 yards a carry) or is it possible that maybe, just maybe the best QB ever is making the right plays when he has to?
