Nope. Never said anything "didn't count."
No "committee," just my opinion. Despite the Chiefs' great win in SB IV, which proved the AFL cream measured up, the rest of the two leagues were
woefully mis-matched at the start. League inter-play was an eye-opener for everybody ...okay, here you go:
AFL/AFC teams win % .313 and .400 vs NFL/NFC first two seasons, after which AFC caught up .513, .500, .575...
