His daughter is kind of a mixed bag but her husband, Troy Blackburn is a large human piece of shit. Whitworth kind of downplayed the stuff Troy said to his agent.
“We don’t have Andrew valued at that price,” Blackburn said. “He is an aging left tackle. Our offer stands. It will not increase. If he chooses to leave Cincinnati, all good things must come to an end, I guess.” That was the text Blackburn sent to Whit's agent after the Bengals offered about 50-60 percent of what the Rams offered. Whit went on to have 5 really good years with the Rams, get another All Pro and win a ring. The two guys the Bengals drafted to try and replace him...sub par JAG garbage.
It's almost amazing that Brown's grandaughters are the way they are; super engaging and understanding of how an NFL franchise should be run in fan engagement/experience. If only there was some way they could take over running the actual team on the field...
I can't begin to express the level of hatred and loathing i have for Mike Brown and the way he's run this franchise for the last 34 years. For the life of me, i can't figure out why i have such loyalty to a team run by a guy who couldn't give the aforementioned two shits about whethere me or any Bengals fan gets to experience a championship season.

I’m curious what happened with Paul Brown and Bill Walsh? Wikipedia has a quote from Bill Walsh that Paul Brown tried to block him from ever being a head coach for any team. Must have been one hell of a falling out between them.
I can’t help but think Bill Walsh’s success with the Niners is similar to the Curse of The Bambino where the Red Sox gave Babe Ruth to the Yankees. The Bengals would be the team with 4-5 rings instead of the Niners under the guidance of Walsh and his staff/players.
