It might be that said 27 year old receiver had been in steady decline since 2019 and had knees in such bad shape in his lone season here that he was being load-managed in the post-season.

If you can get occasional heavy load days from him (either before or after long weeks, in all likelihood) and then get maybe 30 productive snaps from him in an ordinary week, you're in nice shape.

Yes, we absolutely do need to trade for a WR. JJSS can't handle this kind of workload for even consecutive weeks, let alone the 12 straight weeks we have to play to end the season.

And Kelce's old as well so you can't go asking him to take all that contact every week.

Those two guys cannot be the focal point of an offense that is probably gonna throw the ball 35+ times/gm most weeks.

Yes, we need another wide receiver. Badly.
