I coach my 5th graders football team, we've got a really good group of WR's. We've thrown the ball alot since 3rd grade, no other team we play really throw the ball much as it's alot more difficult. But we've done it alot and we've got 3/4 kids who can really catch it.
But our best WR can really run. It's been hard for my son to figure out at QB that you can't wait to throw it to this kid, he outruns where you can throw it.
I think some of that is Pat's problem. He seems to always wait a tick to long and then has to throw it a bit flatter. That one Sunday, he put up and out there and let him run. That's how you throw the deep ball.
