You understand that this wasn’t the end of the season, right? John Elway was 1/8 for 14 yards in his first start. Really glad he didn’t quit then. Extrapolating those numbers over the course of the 250 games or so he ended up starting would have likely left him on the outside looking in, when it comes to Canton. I think so, anyway.
You seem to be all out of breath, but you’re comparing apples and oranges. You reference a post I made, speculating on his season’s stat line. Let’s see how the next 16 games go.
