Offensively yes she's a work in progress but she has hit threes and midrange jumpers on and off all season and I'd expect that to improve as she gains more experience. The tools are there for her to improve offensively and if she does she could be Kawhi lite imo.
It's funny how when the Fever were losing everyone blamed her teammates. Now they are barely 500 "her teammates owe Clark everything"?? Mitchell has been balling since the start of the season so I don't agree that it's solely down to Clark.
Also I think that excuse regarding her turnovers is weak. Quality players don't give the ball away as prolifically as Clark does and it's a habit she had in college too. And what makes it worse is many of them lead to easy buckets for the opposition. When the playoffs start that's when such habits really come home to roost as they did when she lost back to back finals with Iowa.
If you wanna talk about qb's then Brett Favre might be a good Clark comparison tbh. But I digress.

Ok then let’s call angel Reese Clint capella and that’s being generous because capella is an accurate shooter. As any player who shoots almost all their shots within 5 ft should be. Capella is a good and valuable player but he is nowhere near Steve Nash which is who clark probably best compares to.
And her outside game has been far from good. Defenses are giving her wide open shots because they don’t respect it and she’s still iffy, although at least she’s trying to space the floor recently. She’s gotta do way more than be iffy hitting uncontested 3s with a slow as shit shot. Until she does these things she doesn’t open it up for her team like Caitlin does. Because she can’t create her own shot and she doesn’t space the floor.
Clarks turnovers need to be cleaned up. She makes too many unforced errors. But that’s just false that quality players don’t create turnovers. For decades a lot of the best offensive point guards are turnover leaders. But you can’t compare her to other wnba point guards who are more Alex smith. Favre is a fair comparison except that 1 bball turnover isn’t nearly as deadly as an interception. So if that turnover opens up the offense and allows for their frenetic pace the benefits by a mile outweigh the costs.
