But to address your question about a signature being rejected by PSA as non-authentic, since it is ebay, you can basically just file a return stating the item was not as described and they'll allow it. Ebay actually normally has an authenticity guarantee program for cards, but this one did not qualify as it wasn't a high enough dollar value sale to meet the minimum ($250 if I remember correctly).

Have your autographed Salvy items been through buying cards and other stuff he had already autographed or have you been able to get things in person at games or elsewhere?
I have a 1985 World Series ball autographed by George Brett & Bret Saberhagen. I bought a 2015 World Series ball that I would love to get Salvy to sign someday.
