Buffalo should do a new contract with Josh Allen. His cash flow is very low but his cap hits are very large in 2025 and 2026. He’s underpaid compared to a lot of other QB’s in the league. A new deal would help lower his cap hits in the next few years while putting more cash into his pocket.
It will be interesting to see what happens with Mahomes. His cap hits will average $66.5 million per year from 2025 through 2027. His cash flow will average $53.2 million per year for those 3 seasons. Definitely getting into the territory where both the team and player should want a new contract.
