I felt underpowered at first, like egregiously so, but once I figured out where the valor and three arrow draw were at, it instantly became pretty awesome, step by step in line with Zero Dawn, but I feel the story so far is much more engaging off the bat and less mysterious and ambiguous. Seeing you being able to fly on Glinthawks in social media videos can't wait for that to open up, also my breath underwater doesn't last nearly long enough so looking forward to when I get an item that lets me hold my breath underwater so I can explore that as well.

So I was actually closer to the end than I anticipated and was able to finish it last night. I enjoyed the open world, crafting, etc. like you say. The customization and upgrading of the gear was a highlight. I loved going to the top of the highest mountains and parachuting off - some pretty amazing views.
I ended up liking the story for Zero Dawn a bit more but this one was definitely interesting as well.
I’ll spoiler tag this for you just in case, though I don’t think it’s super spoilery. It’s more so advice about some of the stuff you just mentioned.
