In THIS reality there's simply no way they're going to give up substantial draft capital for a WR and give him a market-setting contract. That's no more likely to happen than the Chiefs trading Mahomes.
They only traded him when he didn’t sign the mega contract they offered him.

And that same offseason made a trade offer for AJBrown, that surely would have included a big $ extension.

I think what Veach has proven is that he’s not afraid one bit of taking big swings for top talents at impact positions. Regardless on if that entails a free agent signing, trade or moving up in the draft.

He obviously has an eye for elite talents via all of those methods.

Which is niiiice.
