Montana was leading the NFL in 300-yard games in 1994 before he got hurt.
He made chicken salad out of chicken shit Willie Davis, JJ Birden and average tight ends. Those guys careers were over after Montana left.
Same thing he did before Jerry Rice in SF.
No one knows who Freddie Solomon or Dwight Clark are if Montana isn't drafted.
Citing 4,000 yard seasons or 30 TD seasons is nonsense because an elite season in 1985 was 3700 yards and 25 TD.
That's why Montana was top 4 in yards, TDs and passer rating when he retired.
