Men’s college basketball is like that, but there really aren’t a lot of elite women’s basketball players to end their college careers without a ring. Jackie Stiles and Kelsey Plum are really the only ones that comes to mind. Clark chose a similar path as Stiles and Plum for sure. Great talent that chose a small school without the elite pedigree as some of the others. This is a large reason why they are all top 5 leading scorers in the NCAA because they didn’t have the supporting cast to share production with. I think Brittney Griner is the only player to be top 10 in scoring to actually win a title. Sheryl Swoopes is the only player in mind to actually carry her team to a title pretty much single handedly that I can think of as well.
