Really sent the Saints a first and second round pick to get Sean Payton early and triple down on the Wilson debacle just to have to tear down to the studs anyway with any real chance of competitiveness being seasons away when they could've just hired Payton for free. If that wasn't enough Payton put them JUST out of reach of having any real chance at controlling their destiny in the 2024 QB class. Going to have to rely on hope that the board falls their way.
