This is all anyone will ever remember. Sean Payton is still in New Orleans if he drafted Mahomes. He’s undoubtedly got one, probably 2 Super Bowl appearances at worst.
Brees was 38 and even Sean knew the end was near. If he really loved Mahomes he would have been calling every team after Chicago go move up since he had the 11th pick.
The fact that he sat there a watched a QB he supposed “loved and knew would be great” and decides “nah I’m good” is objectively hillarious.
That leads to 2 thoughts:
