Moore is not a replacement for MVS. He can only hope to be Rice-lite in the future. Watson runs some MVS routes, but he can't do it alone. I think an early draft pick will be invested in a speed receiver to learn from, spell and then replace MVS.

He will have to take a pay cut which I don’t think he’ll take. Way too expensive for what he brings. But All the reasons you mentioned scream frank clark. He got his shit together for the playoffs but it felt more like just finally having a non-rice option catch the shit he’s supposed to. Even with all mecoles mistakes we seemed more willing to use him as a vertical option over Mvs, which doesn’t bode well when we don’t call on him to do the one thing he’s there for.
As with clark, incredibly grateful for his place in chiefs history. But we gotta move on. You can tell the chiefs really want to stretch the defense but at the same time hold their breath still any time they take a shot with these guys. I think the chiefs will focus on a more consistent threat than a guy with this low a target share.
