This San Francisco offense is the same design it has always been; it just has better skill position talent than Shanahan has had. And Purdy is slightly better than Garroppolo.
If you get them off script or mess with the QB’s initial reads, you’re in business.
And Spagnuolo, whose defenses have consistently performed well against the Shanahan/McVay school of offense, is one of the best around at messing with reads and getting teams off script.

Spags is gonna put it all on Purdy. He's gonna have these guys stopping the run, tackling well and forcing them into 3rd and 5+ where he'll take away the middle of the field.
