I think Nagy (and yes, Andy) can get a little up their own asses at times in the technical side of plays. I think they 'nerd out' for lack of a better term and get far more focused on the drawing/scheming of plays than they do hammering the discipline in executing them.
Why wouldn't they? They're football geeks - it's exactly what I'd do if I had their kind of ability to do what they do. I'd get lost in the minutiae.
I think EB is a nice balance in that he's going to be in their ear. "okay, cute ring-round-the-rosey fellas - now how 'bout you execute a simple ****ing down block this time!"

I would welcome him back. But would he want to come back? And what position would he have if he did? Nagy is already Offensive Coordinator. Would they be co-coordinators? Man, that makes my head hurt.
