So probably a stupid question, but how does one improve their first step quickness? Is it somehow a matter of technique? Because my initial thought would be that it’s a matter of quickness and athleticism, if you’re not that athletic you’re not going to be fast off the snap. But FAU seems to have pretty good athleticism, so surely that isn’t it. Is it just anticipation of the snap?
