Also, mini-update, I think the HIIT (med. high intensity) is working. I can do unassisted pull ups now. 4 last week. I know, not a lot, but haven't been able to do one since 2018, so progress. I've decided to continue the HIIT thing for an extra month.
It's real. When you flex wrist you engage the Brachialis which is a forearm muscle that flexes the elbow.
