The edges can't protect well no, but the times Pat does have time his throws are beyond off. Like not even in the same vicinity as the WR.

We are grading Patrick on an absurd scale which is why there is pushback to takes like this.
Coming into yesterday’s game, he still had the 7th highest rated EPA of any quarterback in the NFL. Before Patrick, we would have done anything to have a Top 10 QB year in and and year out. Now, we equate having a QB outside of the Top 5 as “not being able to hit the broadside of a barn.”
He’s off, and having the worst year of his career, but I think it’s important to add overall context to where he is within QB play in the NFL.
