This thread clearly isn't about pessimism, it's about taking the slightest breeze of adversity and turning it into the franchise burning to the ground.
It has nothing to do with watching a Mahomes pick and saying.. damn, he's struggling this year. It's about watching that pick and saying (and this is a real GDT quote)... we're screwed at quarterback for a long time.
And these contests to see how far you can take the smallest negative play or the smallest deficit usually happens in the first quarter of games, predicting not only defeat because another team scored, but then having no clue how they'll ever win another game.
Realistic doubt has no place here.
