From the EZ view, you can see he never looks ANYWHERE but MVS.
Which is a shame, because Kelce is WIDE ****ING OPEN in the middle of the field.

y'know what? The end zone view makes me think we're overcomplicating it.
That's just a bad ball. Look at his mechanics there. Steps wide, doesn't bring his arm through, hips don't really follow and I'm not even 100% sure he's looking where he's aiming.
The mechanics are a complete mess and it creates some odd 'sling'. Look at where his arm finishes - he finishes his throw with his hand OVER his left shoulder. That's not to say he can't complete that ball - he has 100 times. His mechanics don't need to be perfect; he has an innate ability to make anything work.
But sometimes it don't.
Honestly I wonder if that's just not a really poorly thrown ball rather than a miscommunication. Almost everything about it looks uncomfortable and really for no reason at all. Set your feet, step towards your target and drive the ball. That was just...I dunno...lazy?
Is this that season Rodgers had? Was it 2018 or 2019? Where a whole slew of odd habits that never got him in trouble before started cropping up at bad times. He was still really REALLY good, but not
as good. Not good enough to carry an otherwise flawed GB roster.
Probably reading too much into a single throw...
