In Nelson's 2nd season in 2009, a year before he put up respectable numbers, he had two 1k+ receivers ahead of him along with a third guy who had way more yards than him. He would be looking at 40% of snaps tops in that season and averaged 14.5 yards per game. Compare that to Skyy Moore who has had perhaps double the snaps that Nelson did in 2009 and yet averages 11.4 yards per game.

A dumbass suggestion from a dumbass joke of a poster.
... Yes, Jordy Nelson, playing the 3rd option would benefit from having 2 1000 yards receivers on the field at the same time. He also would take way less snaps where he wasn't an option, opposed to Skyy, with those said receivers being decoys on the outside in running plays. I just went through the All-22 of Sunday night's game. I looked at every Skyy snap. He was the primary target 3 times, caught one for a first down, open on another that Mahomes didn't throw, but should have, and the one where Mahomes through the pick on a bad read. The rest of his snaps were all running plays or quick hitters to his side to block, or quick hitters to the other side. Also, whoever was the dumb ass that said Skyy can't block, needs to go back and watch the game, as that is one thing he does well and he did it well in GB. So out of his snaps, it appears 3 were actual non quick hitters, where he was the primary target in the passing game. So yes, the coaching staff is using him for his strengths and not relying on him much in the passing game. That is the disappointment all of us have from the training camp hype. He had one reception on 2 targets, out of 3 plays where it appears there was any chance for him to be the target. The game is on youtube if you don't have All-22 or DVR, because you can pretty much see every snap on the broadcast replay because they are mostly runs and quickhitters and in frame... You should stick to pussy Futbol...
