We need to take into account the struggles with drops, turnovers, and questionable penalties that has lowered our scoring average. Mahomes picks in the past have rarely come on first downs like they are this year. We've had a few RZ fumbles, and we all know of the drops that stopped drives. When you look at the aggregate it probably a minimum of 8-9 TD's, which would push the scoring average close to 28 ppg. These drops and RZ turnovers weren't as bad in years past. Again we need to clean up the TO's, drops and penalties(legit ones) and we will be fine.
