We were already going to be a tough team to beat.
You keep missing that.
We have prime Mahomes, Kelce, Chris Jones, one of the best playcallers/offensive minds of all time in Reid, and we heavily invested in defense last year.
The strategy is what do you do from there and I advocated for improving the WR room and you wanted to put your hopes on an injured Toney, a WR signed for 1 million, a 2nd WR who showed ZERO traits his first year and a vet journeyman that no other team ever bothered to use as your WR's. We added a small school WR in the 2nd and you said, We good.
All I said was we needed to add one more vet WR to give ourselves breathing room and you fought against adding ONE player all offseason. You constantly want to give Mahomes less and now you are here pumping your chest because...
We are still a good team?!
Yes, the goal is to win the SB but instead you are like diqlix or a Buffalo fan celebrating regular season wins as if they are the goal.
It's to have guys that can make plays in the biggest games. Right now our roster was mismanaged for no reason and now we have far less room for error.
