Saw someone make a fair point - Sanders is a guy who recruits heavily on social media. Hell it was a feather in his cap for many - "perfect for the modern era..."
Cuts both ways though - you recruit via Instagram and you're gonna attract short attention span clout-seekers. Those are guys who love the attention more so than the program.
Now when you're winning that's gonna be fine. But those aren't guys that build a program's foundation. Those aren't guys like, say, Brad Smith - a kid who was a stepping stone to Chase Daniel.
Those are front runners and I don't know how you get the baseline in place to satisfy kids like that. How do you build a strong enough foundation to not just GET their attention but to KEEP it. And how can you ever be sure they aren't just using Colorado and Sanders to build their own brand on the recruiting and/or NIL circuit?
This may work at some point but man you're gonna have a lot of false starts and total flameouts along the way.
