Veach has put a ton into this defense the last few years, and the moves have mostly been good ones.

And there’s a strong argument that we’re seeing diminishing returns from the investment in this defense.

I get what you’re saying but I just don’t get the argument that we’re going to get worse somewhere else before we get better.The fact is we just didn’t try very hard and I don’t want to hear this talk about how we pumped so much into this position. We have one of the bottom 5 investments in the position cap and draft wise. I don’t think the pro wr groups demands were that unreasonable. We’re not talking about davante Adams. Someone said it best that we were so stuck on moneyball that $10m WRs were treated with such sticker shock. It was more of a confidence bordering on arrogance that Reid and mahomes were so good they can carry anybody
