Run the right route, read the defense, consistently beat his guy in structure. That seems to be a common theme with these guys and I don’t know that I’ve seen this kind of football iq from anyone other than rice and maybe Watson.
And that’s where I just want to see these guys pop. We’ve got to got to have the flexibility to push the ball because defenses don’t seem to have much respect that we can. we need consistency right now way more than we need lightning in a bottle

Man, you guys latch onto these weird things. 'Catch and run' like it's somehow a bad thing? It simply means a guy is good in space as a ball carrier. That's not a 'limitation' necessarily. Are we saying that Toney is just Hardman?
Toney looks like Toney to me, when they actually use him as a WR. He separates, he's electric with the ball. Other than the terrible first game. I have no idea why they're using him as little as they are, or as weirdly when they do.
Go back and watch Rice's college highlights. We've not even come close to seeing what he does best.
No argument that we're not seeing the results we'd all like.
My argument is that there is talent there, it's not showing yet CONSISTENTLY.
Everything is just a click off.
I'd put money on Andy and Patrick locking it in.
