I've literally been saying since the first half of the Lions game -- "Hmmm...that's odd. Mahomes doesn't look comfortable out there; seems really tentative..."
And got excoriated in the game-thread for trying to point out what I was seeing from the stands. Then the All-22 came out and supported that, but it got lost in the 4th quarter shitshow.
Been watching the games. Been genuinely surprised by what I've seen. It's not as though i came into the season thinking "Man, Mahomes is going to backslide" or "This receivers are ****ing outstanding!"
Nope. But everything I've seen from the offense suggests that yes, the receivers could be better, but the greatest impact improved WR play would have would actually be to convince the QB to start throwing guys open again.
