It’s good to see rice getting reps but we need him to be more effective as an outside option if we’re going to pump up the snaps. I would’ve much preferred we had a better outside option in the first place so we could’ve let him stay more in the slot lane early but I digress…. If we are to improve we need someone to go out and grab this. Either rashee accelerating his learning curve or Toney/James stepping up in a very big way. Until then it’s a gap. Skyy/Mvs/Watson are what they are.
But yeah ultimately I feel like Reid is trying to lean WRs more early to develop them as much as we can. But by crunch time he will more actively lean on creativity, trickery and probably heavier 12/13 packages to get the job done.
