They were pretty active in FA. Now maybe they should have done it differently and allocated more $$$ for a FA WR, instead of OL and LB. But hey did sign James, in FA also. There was a reason why he didn't cost allot though. |
Seems like the Chiefs made their minds up they wouldn't pay CJ what he wanted at all this off season so I don't see how his contract stuff would have affected how active we could have been. I mean Hopkins signed for basically the same money we're paying MVS (well he's making 3mil more a year). It's not like we would have needed to break the bank and kill our cap to sign him.
