I own Ruger LC9S, for one reason. If I'm going somewhere that I know I have to go through a metal detector or get wanded and have to leave the gun in the car, I carry the Ruger because I don't give a shit if somebody steals it. Ruger is the absolute lowest quality firearm I'll own. Sure, it's light. But it has a tiny magazine and a middling at best trigger. I CANNOT EMPHASIZE ENOUGH HOW IMPORTANT A GOOD TRIGGER IS ON A HANDGUN. I do trust it to go bang when I pull the trigger. That's about the only thing I like about it.
But again, the Sig P365XL (or X) isn't that much bigger or heavier, and is an exponentially better gun.

I agree 100%. This is the same reason I own my s&w 642. It is my truck gun that I am not afraid to leave in the car. I know it will go bang when I pull the trigger.
But some people that extra size makes a huge difference. A gun is useless if the person doesn't carry it. I have had this same discussion with my sister, wife, and dad. If it is over a certain size they just refuse to carry it.
