We played 3 of the worst 7 pass defenses to start the season last year. What's the difference?
JuJu ****ing Smith was a decent WR here last year. He made a few good catches, had some good games. He also missed a **** load of time and hasn't been missed.
The passing offense hasn't been the dominant force it was a few years ago. It's been good, not great. No shit it has a few times where they haven't just mown teams down, they're young and have new faces. Again, this has been a you thing wanting them to sacrifice defense to put pieces around Mahomes.
You've ignored when people have told you, they did, it just wasn't what you wanted. Again, a you thing.
Meanwhile, they're putting out statistically a top 5 offense, a top 5 defense and rate as one of the better overall teams we've seen in the league in the past....**** I don't even know....decade?
Sure, we all want it to be what it was. Maybe it will be. But they did what they did and built this roster. Seems like it's gonna be fine.

I’m not even doing that. I’ve accepted what we will become and I’m plenty satisfied with it. But you started it off by saying we haven’t had problems and there’s nothing to unlock. And no I don’t support that. We have had issues with the passing game and we all know the path forward that will “unlock” it. It’s already largely in motion. Im optimistic of it. You seem to think that our offense has been so great that the next step up is unstoppable. I think most reasonable people see that our pass offense has ability to improve a lot by end of year and that doesn’t mean we become unstoppable. It just means better.
And those challenges are not even close to the same as how we started out last year. Other than Indy our pass offense was fine. And sometimes tremendous including throttling great SF and TB defenses. Our offense was largely “unlocked” last year because of Pacheco. This year it will likely be “unlocked” with rice.
