He just can't get blown up there, especially not when he's standing there flat footed. The route itself was okay, but then he just didn't finish it by continuing to come towards the ball and box out the DB.
There's no way he should've gotten blown apart by Gilmour there. At worst that should've been an incompletion.

Kinda what you get playing rookie WR's but that's a pretty basic thing he has to be able to do.
Probably didn't have to do that playing in the TCU spread.
