Any blanket statement generalizing an entire position group league wide is hooey.

Each individual is their own case. Each offense, each coaching staff, each organization.

For every guy who lights it up day one, there are a dozen that take a while to adjust.

Jerry Rice wasn't Jerry Rice day one.

Now maybe none of these guys become plus players, but deciding that five games into year one is nuts, and I still don't see Veach and Andy going 0 for 4 on the position.

Moore isn't showing anything, but Rice is, and Toney's only problem is injury, and Ross showed us what a 6'4" receiver can bring. Let's let it play out.
