It's football. There's a physical aspect to it. NFL QBs are protected enough w all the rules they have in place. Reality is if a player as a body part that is prone to injures - well then of course certain defenders might target it. It's a part of the game and you can't change that.

That said, Mahomes has an extremely high tolerance for pain and his arm strength is unreal. He limps a lot but he seems to be able to shake it off and then continue to play at a high level.

As long as he continues to be able to shake off the injuries he seems to get that lead to him limping - he should be OK.
