Not to say build a bad defense. It is more the fine line of do they need to be great or elite? Because if we all acknowledge we have finite resources, we have pumped a LOT of those into the defense. And we will need to keep feeding that with lots and lots of picks if we want to keep that engine running. All the while preparing for a kelce regression which may occur sooner than expected. Do we still feel that we can build our offense nearly the same way? If this year is a bandaid to the future, fine.

You've gone on and on about this for a while.
They're playing for January and February here. Nothing has to be set in stone or considered done right now and they're 4-1.
You keep saying "they don't need elite WR's" yet wanna go pay high end #2's like they're elite because you feel unsure about the current offense. That's just a surefire way to roster **** ups. The current WR's are on a good developmental curve for what you'd hope. Ideally, sure theres a DJ Moore in the group.
2018's offense is gone. It's not coming back, move on.
