I’m hoping that they’re just trying to make it look like they’re trying to save Russ, while actively tanking, to avoid any penalties from the league. But, Occam’s razor means I’m probably wrong.
I do think that sweeping the entire roster out the door and starting from scratch wouldn’t yield a worse team.
