No one in this thread is against it for the right player at the right price. Toney for a compensatory 3rd and a 6th was fine. But hey, what do you know, that guy doesn’t seem to be able to produce as a receiver in the way we wanted and now we are being told we need to replicate that formula.
If Claypool were a player the Chiefs wanted in the locker room, they would’ve traded for him.
But Hollywood Brown or whatever else? Are you giving up a 2 for him? And if so, are you sure that’s not something any other team in the NFL would give up because we have the lowest round-by-round priority? And are we sure that he’s going to come in and develop immediate chemistry with Mahomes and be the missing link that “ensures” a SB win?
