That being said, it was nice to see better chemistry between Mahomes and the younger receivers like Moore & Rice in this Chicago game. It's hard to read into it very much given they were playing against a really bad Chicago defense. The Jets defense will provide a much bigger challenge next weekend and it will be interesting to see if the Chiefs offense can put together a high quality performance.

I wonder if he was just trying to give jos guys some juice saying that to give them more confidence, or he genuinely believes they're that talented. Cause like you said, thats a bold statement.
