Kelce will be 34 and is it becoming painfully obvious that we should start protecting him? Like, when a defenses whole strategy is to have 2-3 guys clobber him maybe give the dude some help?

The WRs are a big problem right now. How can you possibly say they’re not? I get if you want to be optimistic that they’ll get better. But they killed just as many drives as our OL did. I refuse to accept that mahomes can’t read the defense or just stalls drives. Or that one mistake is so devastating that it kills drives every single time. In fact we’re making mahomes worse because he’s overcompensating and he’s hesitant to throw to guys who might **** things up.

We didn’t make mistakes last year. We made a ton of them two years ago and this year. The big difference is this year we don’t have any reliable weapons (yet) to recover from mistakes. So every small mistake is a drive killer.
You're misreading where I'm at. I was one of the people disappointed that we didn't add anyone else at receiver. I was one of the people who thought it was a mistake to rely upon a group of unproven receivers because we can't always count on Mahomes to play to an MVP level again this year.

But it's the people who are like, "Oh, we're doomed. These WRs suck and can't do anything right and we'll never win with them." WE WON WITH THEM LAST YEAR EX-JUJU WHO IS WR5 IN NEW ENGLAND.

These exact same conversations were happening after very poor and disjointed offensive performances last year against the Chargers and Colts in September with middling at best play from our receivers. And then? We cooked defenses with one of the most efficient offensive performances ever.

We have made a ton of mistakes across the board this year on offense. There's no disputing that. Mahomes doesn't look or feel as comfortable as he did toward the end of last season. But it's early and even in a game like today you can see things improving despite a trillion penalties that put this offense in unwinnable positions.

Toney flashed. Moore flashed. Watson flashed outside of his fumble. We won the game against a really good team because we're a good team that's shown it can win in multiple ways.
