They're like poetry
Spoiler!
Sabine was absolutely right in not destroying the orb. Notice after Ahsoka used the Force to see what happened to Sabine and Baylan. She showed zero disappointment in Sabine’s decision to not destroy the orb. No sigh. No head shake. Just a calm and satisfied look.
I think one lesson Ahsoka learned in the WBW from Anakin is you don’t achieve victory by sacrificing the ones you love. You achieve victory by saving the ones you love.
Ahsoka saw all the lives sacrificed in the clone wars. It was all in vain. What if the Jedi didn’t become soldiers and generals? But instead protectors of the peace? The Jedi sacrificed their friends to protect the republic that didn’t deserve saving. They should have allowed the separatist systems to break off and leave the republic. It was a decision based on fear not love.
Ahsoka was so afraid of Thrawn that she was willing to sacrifice Ezra. She forgot what was really important. You try to save your friends and then trust the Force.
That is exactly what Ahsoka did at the end. She trusted the Force and hitched a ride with the Purgil. She will do everything she can to save Ezra and Sabine.
Luke risked the fate of the galaxy to save Leia and Han in ESB. Luke risked the fate of the galaxy to save his father. Ahsoka will do the same.
Sabine was absolutely right not to sacrifice Ezra. With the Force there is always another way to victory
Also pretty sure "get close to one of the big ones" was an ESB reference?
