Many of our other WRs play off kelce. That is the massive influence he has on this offense and why many have kicked and screamed about reducing our reliance on him to carry the offense. So our veterans play off kelce while the guys we want to push to be the primary guys are super raw and inexperienced.
But without that glue guy, is it ideal for mahomes to have this much rotation? This many guys making even subtly wrong route adjustments? Or how much that’s gotta **** up his timing to see Ross in one drive, then rice the next, then sometimes Toney or Watson. Not really. And it’s not like that would vulture any young wr snaps. If anything it would vulture Watson who’s biggest asset is that he doesn’t **** up - and it’s proof that just hitting your spots is sometimes good enough when you have Reid and mahomes.
