Hmmm... interesting take... last year was going to be a rebuilding year after the loss of Hill and the Chiefs end up winning it all. At some point, you have to reload and the price of success is hoping your later picks turn into diamonds instead of coal. The Chiefs have been spending a lot of money and picks on the OL to protect their QB investment and last year, the top picks went to the Defense.
We are spoiled; five straight AFC championships and two overtime losses from five straight SB appearances. They aren't going to win every game every year. I'm just trying to enjoy the ride for as long as it lasts.
