We know he hyperextended his knee and even if his ACL has no structural damage there is still risk. When we are talking about bone bruising or an injury to the capsule around the knee things that themselves can be multi week absences as the swelling calms down and as pain improves. Even if no structural damage in terms of the ligaments and minisci. If you have persistent pain from a bone bruise where the front end of the joint bumps together really hard from the hyperextension. That pain can inhibit the function of your muscles around your knee and impair the ability to protect the ligaments in the knee.

I just watched a video from Brian Sutterer MD on YouTube. I'm sure he knows 99% more than most of us know. He said he would be very surprised it Kelce played but would be optimistic long term for the season.

HOLD HIM OUT
